ACH Child and Family Services (ACH), a nonprofit serving the community for more than 110 years, is hosting an event dedicated to raising essential funds that go directly to improving the lives of children and families within ACH’s residential and foster care programs. Now in its 24th year, Hoot ‘n Holler is the nonprofit’s largest fundraising event and is scheduled for October 25 at the picturesque River Ranch Stockyards. Guests will enjoy live music and dancing, dinner, games, auctions, raffles, and more.
Proceeds Ensure Safey, Hope and Love for Children
In the past year alone, Tarrant County sadly witnessed over 4,700 confirmed cases of child abuse. The residential programs ACH offers extend beyond mere shelter, providing essential services such as healthcare, community, and counseling to help mend the profound wounds of trauma. Programs include those that promote self-confidence and self-sufficiency for young adults aging out of the foster care system and homeless young adults by providing independent living housing options and skills development. ACH also helps single mothers and their children who are experiencing homelessness due to intimate partner domestic violence crime victimization.
Emceed by National Correspondent for ABC News
ABC News National Correspondent Mireya Villarreal, who is also an ACH board member, will be joined by event co-chairs Cara Hardin and Kaci Lightner. Sponsors include Jerry & Melinda Johnston, Fred & Cheryl Moore, Presidio, Bank of Texas and The Christenberry Group. The classic country western band Raised Right Men will end the night on a high note with what is traditionally a full dance floor.
