🕐 1 min read

Asusena Reséndiz resigned as president and CEO of the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce effective May 21.

Larry Anfin, chairman of the board of the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber said in a release that “Asusena and her team have worked hard to move our organization forward and we thank her for her service. She has decided that it is time to dedicate herself, and her focus, to completing her Master’s Degree in

Nonprofit Administration at the University of Notre Dame.”

Asusena joined the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber on Jan. 13, 2013, having previously served at the Irving Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Anfin said he would serve as the interim president while the Hispanic Chamber Executive Committee makes plans to begin a search for her successor.

“I sincerely thank the Board of Directors and each of our members for the trust that they instilled in me, my team, and the organization. I am extremely proud of the many successes my staff and I have accomplished and wish all FWHCC partners the best,” said Reséndiz in a statement.
