The Fort Worth Business Press honored the 2018 Minority Leaders in Business class on Dec. 12 at the Fort Worth Club.
Retired Judge Louis E. Sturns received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
“I want to thank the Fort Worth Business Press for this recognition. It is indeed an honor for me to be the recipient of this award,” he told the crowd. “Secondly, I want to thank the Fort Worth Business Press for believing so much in our community and the diversity of our community. We are a great community because we recognize that all people, regardless of their race, gender, religious beliefs and all nationalities, have something to contribute. That is why we are a great community.
“Having sat through this luncheon today and watching the seeing all these people receiving this award, I am completely impressed with each of you. It is an honor to be here with you,” he said.
