The Point, a 54 unit luxury townhome development project has begun construction on Forest Hill Drive, just south of Interstate 20 in Forest Hill.

Located at 7320-7330 Forest Hill Dr., the $6 million project, to be built by The Peak Group out of North Richland Hills, will be the first of its kind in the city.

With its close proximity to Interstates 20, 35 and US 287, the three bedroom/two bath homes will serve those residents looking for easy access to Fort Worth, Dallas and surrounding suburbs.

“This quality development is the next great step in growing our community,” said Interim Mayor Clara Faulkner. “The New Urbanism concept is expanding in large cities across the United States – and the City of Forest Hill is ready to join the movement with welcoming The Point here,” she added.

The Point’s 54 townhomes will be constructed utilizing Four-Plex design and include elevations using modern architecture, metal roofs, small front and back yards and garages. It will also include an HOA (Homeowners Association).

“This design is indicative of the trend of smaller homes for millennials and retirees looking for less house and more ability to pick up and leave for a weekend at a moment’s notice,” said Todd Bowers, director of Construction for the Peak Group. “We look to the City of Forest Hill as a partner in this project and are excited about other residential development opportunities with them. Today people are living in a world of mobility and we feel ‘The Point’ will give the new residents of this city the opportunity to enjoy this lifestyle.”

The Point will be complete by the end of December, 2019.
