🕐 1 min read

Access, a Livermore, California records and information management provider, has acquired Tindall Record Storage of Fort Worth, making its entry into the Dallas-Fort Worth market, announcing the acquisition in a new release today. .

Tindall Record Storage Ltd. was established in 1981 in Fort Worth.

Rob Alston, CEO of Access, announced the company’s recent entrance into the Dallas and Fort Worth markets with the acquisition of Tindall Record Storage and into the Minneapolis market with the acquisition of Archives Corporation in Minneapolis. The company has also expanded in Hawaii with the acquisition of the records management inventory of All-American Moving Inc., located in Kapolei. These three transactions bring the total number of acquisitions made by Access, since its founding in 2004, to 94.

No purchase price was announced for any of the transactions.

“We are particularly pleased to be announcing these acquisitions in Texas and Minnesota. Both are markets we have been eager to enter for some time now,” Alston noted. “We look forward to becoming a highly valued partner to our newest clients in Dallas-Fort Worth, Minneapolis and Hawaii.”

Access President John Chendo said the former owners of both Tindall Record Storage and Archives Corporation recognized the value of partnering with a larger, international firm like Access.

That, he said, would “provide future opportunities for their team members and broadened service capabilities with a nationwide footprint to their clients.”

As the largest privately held records and information management services provider in the United States, Access now serves 44 markets across the nation and in Latin America and the Caribbean. Access is backed by growth equity investor Berkshire Partners.
