Mansfield-based Klein Tools is looking for a few good electricians. The 160-year-old company that makes professional grade tools recognizes “U.S.-based electricians who exemplify professional achievement, safety excellence and community dedication.”

Entries, including self-nominations, will be accepted online at kleintools.com/eoy from July 10 to Aug. 6, 2017, and are open to U.S. residents only. Six regional winners will be selected and a grand prize winner chosen from among those. Fans will have a chance to vote online for their favorite regional winner from Sept. 11-15, 2017. The grand prize winner will be announced on Sept. 27, 2017.
The grand prize winner will receive his or her choice of a one-time trip to one of four iconic American destinations, including Charlotte, North Carolina; New York City; Las Vegas, Nevada; or Sturgis, South Dakota, plus $1,500 of premium-quality, professional-grade Klein Tools products.
“Over the last 160 years, we have heard amazing stories of how electricians dedicate time to their communities, take ownership of difficult work and strive for professional achievement,” Greg Palese, vice president of marketing at Klein Tools, said in an announcement. “We want to celebrate these electricians for their hard work and for powering America’s passions.”
