Arlington Commons

Construction on the first phase of Arlington Commons, the city’s largest multifamily redevelopment to date, is progressing with the addition of a four-story parking garage, according to general contractor KWA Construction.

The $200 million, 1,300-unit project at 425 E. Lamar Blvd. will be built over four phases.

Phase I will occupy 5.56 acres of the 22.18-acre project, featuring a four-story, 353-unit apartment complex and garage, as well as a 1,589-square-foot leasing office, 869-square-foot clubhouse, 1,173-square-foot fitness center and 2,100-square-foot lounge and conference area.

JHP Architecture/Urban Design designed the first phase, with project developer The Nehemiah Co. expecting the project to reach completion in 2026.
