Southfield, Michigan-based consulting, engineering and construction services firm Atwell LLC announced today it has made an equity investment in RVi Planning + Landscape Architecture which has operations in Dallas, Austin and Houston. RVi Planning has worked on several projects in Tarrant County, including at AT&T Stadium and Texas Christian University.
This investment allows Atwell the opportunity to offer clients planning and landscape architectural design services through collaboration with RVi. In addition, Atwell-owned landscape architecture, urban design, and planning firm, Golden Associates, will become part of and be managed by RVi’s operations.
“We chose to invest in RVi because we respect what their leadership has built over the past three and a half decades. They are a very well-managed company, and together, we are poised to achieve even greater success on a national scale,” said Atwell President and CEO Brian R. Wenzel.
This investment expands RVi’s offices from three to five, and will give the firm better access to clients in the western United States, according to a news release. RVi’s name and existing leadership team will remain in place, maintaining day-to-day operations as usual. No transaction price for the investment was given.
