B&B Butchers & Restaurant, a Houston-based upscale steakhouse and traditional butcher shop, announced it will open its second location in Fort Worth in September 2017.
The restaurant, which specializes in high-quality meats and elevated customer service, will be one of the first restaurants to open in The Shops at Clearfork developed in partnership by Cassco Development Co. and Simon Property Group.
The brainchild of restaurateur, Benjamin Berg, the dual concept is dedicated to serving the finest Texas and Japanese Wagyu beef, as well as in-house dry-aged USDA Prime beef – all hand cut in the butcher shop.
Since opening its Houston location in June 2015, B&B has received several accolades for innovative design and outstanding food and service and experienced great success due to rave reviews from local and national media and the support of local fans in Houston.
Located in the center of The Shops at Clearfork just south of Neiman Marcus, B&B Butchers & Restaurant will include a 7,400 square foot downstairs dining room and butcher shop, a 2,500 square foot mezzanine and a 1,500 square foot partially covered patio overlooking the center’s park. The spacious layout will offer guests four private dining options available to book for events.
“I wasn’t looking to expand when I was approached about opening in Fort Worth, but it made perfect sense,” said Benjamin Berg, Proprietor of B&B Butchers & Restaurant, who has over 17 years of experience in the restaurant industry. “My slaughterhouse is in Fort Worth and I’ve fallen in love with the quintessentially Texas city and its people, who remind me a lot of Houstonians with their love for philanthropy, art, food and all things Texas.”
In July 2016, B&B earned a rare certification by the Kobe Beef Association in Japan, allowing it to be one of only nine restaurants in the U.S. offering 100 percent authentic, A5 certified Kobe beef from Tajima cattle.
