Retailer Belk will open a 95,000-square-foot location in Euless’ Glade Parks development, the fashion retailer announced May 11.
This will be the ninth North Texas location for the Charlotte-based retailer that sells fashion apparel, shoes, accessories and home merchandise.
Construction will begin in July with the store expected to open in March 2016. The store will be similar to the company’s Fort Worth location at Alliance Town Center, which opened in 2008.
The new Belk store represents a $10.8 million investment and will incorporate the latest in retail design, lighting, merchandise presentation and décor, according to the company.
“We’re pleased to be opening a brand new store at Glade Parks to better serve our customers in Euless and surrounding areas,” said David Luoma, chairman of the Belk Inc. Western Division. “The store will represent the best of the Belk brand and our modern, southern, style. We look forward to providing the top brands, the best in service and a deep commitment to this community.”
Glade Parks is anchored by a Super Target and Walmart Supercenter, and construction is underway for a summer 2015 opening for several other retailers, including: Dave & Buster’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Home Goods, Michaels Arts & Crafts, Ulta Salon & Cosmetics, Boot Barn, Cato, Five Below, Massage Envy and Kirklands.
