Burgers, wellness center set for West 7th development

 

A new burger restaurant and a wellness center are coming to t he West 7th development, Cypress Equities officials announced Tuesday. Brewsters Burger Bar and Chiro One Wellness Centers have signed leases to occupy space in the mixed-use development located at the intersection of West Seventh Street and University Drive.

Brewsters Burger Bar will open a 2,969-square-foot location on Crockett Street across the street from LA Fitness. Brewsters will be a draft house/burger bar as well as a full bar with about 60 craft beers on tap. Designed by The Duncan Design Group of Dallas, Brewsters will have a classic pub atmosphere with wood, leather and brick, according to a news release from Cypress.

Brewsters will be operated by Steve Brown of the BPSB Corp. Brown has more than 35 years of restaurant expertise, having opened Esparza’s Restaurante Mexicano in downtown Grapevine in 1985 and Guero’s Mexican Grill in Valley Ranch in 1997. Brewsters Burger Bar is slated to open in December 2013.

Roger Smeltzer with Vision Commercial Real Estate represented Brewsters Burger Bar while Perren Gasc of Centennial Retail Services represented the landlord. Chiro One Wellness Centers offers chiropractic care and has 78 locations in Illinois, Kentucky and Texas. The 2,563-square-foot wellness center will be located between Moda Aveda SalonSpa and The Boardroom Salon for Men on Seventh Street. This will mark Chiro One’s 10th Mtroplex location and is slated to open in the fourth quarter of this year. Travis Ewert with Colliers International represented Chiro One Wellness Centers while Karly Kilroy of Cypress Equities represented the landlord.
