The City of Fort Worth is calling for contractors and vendors who may be interested in working on the Multipurpose Arena.
The city will host two open house events at the Cactus Room of Will Rogers Memorial Center, 3401 W. Lancaster Ave, on June 13 from 5:30-7 p.m. and June 15 from 2-3:30 p.m. Email invitations will be sent to prospective contractors and vendors on June 14.
When choosing contractors or vendors, the city will follow its Business Diversity Enterprise ordinance, which requires the city to employ a certain number of minority-owned businesses. The arena is expected to be completed and open for business by 2021.
