The City Works restaurant at The Shops at Clearfork will open on Saturday, Dec. 9, owners Bottleneck Management announced last week.
The restaurant, located at 5288 Monahans Ave. with be led by General Manager Brandy Elstep, a Fort Worth native, and Executive Chef Andrew Ehrmantraut.
The restaurant will hold a sneak peak of at a charity , “First Draft,” soft opening event on Friday, Dec. 8 with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting Cook Children’s
City Works has a craft beer list of over 90 local, regional, and global craft brews, complemented by classic American cuisine with chef-driven twists. Local brews will include Martin House Brewing Co., Legal Draft Beer Co., Wild Acre Brewing Co. and HopFusion Ale Works.
The 6,000 square foot restaurant and bar offers seating for 287, and features state-of-the-art A/V capabilities, 18 65-inch flat screen HDTVs, and semi-private event spaces for small and large groups.
The menu includes handhelds such as Shrimp Tacos, Thai Chicken Wrap and the signature City Works Burger made with a short rib/brisket blend, topped with aged white cheddar, lettuce, dill pickle, and vine-ripened tomato, served on a toasted brioche bun. Entrées include Angus beef low country Meatloaf with carrots, peas, mashed potatoes and red eye gravy; Smoked BBQ Ribs with house-made barbecue sauce, mascarpone creamed corn, coleslaw, and Idaho thick-cut fries; and farmed Atlantic Salmon with braised fennel, oven-dried tomatoes, crème fraiche fingerling potatoes, roasted cipollini onions, grilled asparagus, and dill caper butter. The menu also features a number of gluten-free offerings, including Smoked Wings, Penne with Italian sausage, roma tomatoes, basil, peas, goat cheese, and tomato cream, and the City Works Chopped Salad with grilled chicken, artisanal greens, applewood smoked bacon, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, bleu cheese crumbles, avocado, and sweet herb vinaigrette.
Chicago-based Bottleneck Management Inc., founded in 2001, manages and operates premier restaurants and bars throughout the United States.
City Works now has six locations across the country in cities including, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Miami, Frisco, and now Fort Worth. The Fort Worth location will be open for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, and prices range from $12-$18 at lunch, $15-$24 during dinner, and $13-$16 during brunch.
