Core States Group, a national provider of architecture, engineering, construction (AEC), and signage services, has acquired C.M. Architecture P.A. (CMA), a leading national architecture, planning, and interior design firm. The transaction was closed on Friday, August 23. CMA performed its services in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and Canada from its three offices in Minneapolis, Dallas, and Fort Worth.

With over 40 years of excellence in the industry, CMA brings comprehensive architectural, planning, and interior design services that it has provided to a mix of clients in the retail, restaurant, corporate office, and distribution markets.

“As Core States continues to grow and position itself to better serve its clients, adding the CMA team will not only give us more depth in the Midwest and Texas, but across North America as well,” said David Dugan, president of Core States Group. “Our integrated model and diverse footprint are major differentiators, and the addition of CMA will strengthen that.”

“Like Core States we’ve always prided ourselves on strong client relationships and the dedication it takes to build them,” said Bruce Carlson, CEO of CMA. “We’re looking forward to where the future takes us.”
