Crescent wins A List Award

 

Crescent Real Estate Holdings was honored with the 2012 National Commercial Real Estate Customer Service Award for Excellence presented by CEL & Associates. It is the ninth time that Fort Worth-based Crescent has been honored with the award.

“Customer service is a core value, the heart of our company culture,” said John Goff, chairman of Crescent commenting in an announcement about the award. “Customer service means we retain our customers.”

The A List award surveys customer satisfaction with building, appearance, condition and staff performance.

Crescent is a fully integrated real estate company owned by Barclays Capital and Goff Capital. The company owns or manages 25 premier office buildings totaling more than 9.2 million square feet. It has holdings in Fort Worth, Dallas, Houston, Denver and Las Vegas and resort and hotel properties in Vail, Lake Tahoe and elsewhere.

CEL & Associates is the largest surveyor of customer satisfaction in the real estate industry.

Former Kennedale cabaret set to become Urgent Care Clinic

The site of the former Show Time Cabaret, a 6,500-square-foot facility at 1298 W. Kennedale Parkway, is poised to become an Urgent Care Clinic, opening about August 2013. The vacant restaurant and night club sold on March 25. Mark Allen with Sperry Van Ness/Visions Commercial, represented the buyer, Allegiant Financial Realty LLC. Wayne Burgdorf with Burgdorf Realty represented the seller, Grand Bank of Texas. Vendigm Construction is set to begin renovations for the new occupants, Allegiant and physicians Dr. DeAndre Brown and Dr. Keith Rigsby.

 

PrimeLending executive serves on Washington discussion panel

Scott Bristol, executive vice president and national production manager for Dallas-based PrimeLending, a mortgage originator, served as a discussion expert at the 2013 Housing Policy & Hispanic Lending Conference in Washington, D.C., on March 26.  The event was sponsored by National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals and Bristol, spoke on demographics, regulation and mortgage liquidity at the conference. PrimeLending is a division of PlainsCapital.

The Soccer Corner has leased 4,300 square feet of store space in The Highlands in Arlington for its brand of sporting goods equipment. The store is a leading dealer of soccer equipment and carries all types of soccer supplies, including those with brands such as Adidas, Nike and Puma. Cynthia Baily of WindStar Properties represented the landlord, WindStar Land Partners. The tenant was represented by Jeff Pappas of Arledge Partners Real estate Group Inc. Respiratory Sleep Solutions signed a new lease for 2,250 square feet at Matlock Centre, 601 Matlock Centre Circle in Arlington. Christopher Mendez with SCM Real Estate Services represented the landlord. Monika Guzman-Perez of SCM represented the tenant. … Southern Harvest Landscape has leased 6,408 square feet of warehouse space at 5905 Eden Drive in Haltom City. Robert Rutherford, owner of Rutherford Realty in Southlake represented the landlord. Dennis Askins, a broker with Askins Investment Realty Partners in Fort Worth represented the tenant. … An out-of-state investor has bought a 4,568-square-foot office building at 6201 Southwest Boulevard in Benbrook from Generis I Partnership. Michelle Hudson, with Hudson Peters Commercial, represented the buyer. Theron Bryant of SCM Real Estate represented the seller. … Beech Street Capital has closed a $9 million Fannie Mae conventional loan for a 384-unit apartment complex in Euless. Larry Sneathern of Beech Street’s Dallas office originated the loan. … The owners of Colonial Gardens Condominiums have lowered the price of the 32-unit development at 5055 Ridglea Lane to $995,000. The 31,245 square foot complex was built in 1968. Calvert LLC has completed the purchase of a Walgreen at 1701 Southlake Boulevard for $5.02 million, or $332 per square foot from Bradner Central Co. The retailer has a corporate lease on the property that runs through 2020. The store sits on 2.6 acres and occupies 15,120 square feet. Mark Ruble and Jamie Medress of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller. Richard Ringer of the same brokerage firm represented the buyer.
