Dallas-based hotel investment, management and advisory firm Prism Hotels & Resorts said May 22 it has assumed management of the Sheraton Dallas Fort Worth Airport Hotel, in partnership with the property’s owner and asset manager, Los Angeles-based Stratford Hospitality.
More than $7 million has been committed to renovating the 303-room hotel that will largely impact the hotel’s grand three-story atrium, guest rooms, lobby, dining facilities and pool area, with work beginning in June. “This is an exciting opportunity for us to take the reins of this prominent hotel in the Dallas community in partnership with Stratford Hospitality,” said Mark Van Amerongen, Prism’s senior vice president of operations. “Our plans for this extensive renovation will build on the pillars that make the Sheraton brand great, transform the guest experience and lead to a strengthened positive reputation for this hotel for years to come.”
The Sheraton is located at 4440 West John Carpenter Frwy in Irving,
