🕐 1 min read

The latest beef emporium from Southlake-based Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group Inc. opened this month in Uptown Dallas after relocating from its former location on Spring Valley Road.

With the snip of a ribbon, the new Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House welcomed guests on Sept. 10 in the McKinney & Olive building, 2323 Olive St.

The two-story restaurant accommodates 480 guests with four private dining rooms, a patio and main dining room.

McKinney & Olive, the tallest building in Uptown, offers 530,000 square feet of space, with the new steakhouse designed by Atlanta-based restaurant design firm The Johnson Studio.

“We are thrilled to open our Uptown Dallas restaurant in the remarkable McKinney & Olive building,” said Mark S. Mednansky, CEO of Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group, commenting in a news release.

“We appreciate our many loyal Spring Valley guests and we look forward to offering the same hospitality and culinary excellence they have come to know at our new Uptown restaurant,” Mednansky said.

Serving as executive chef is Tony Schwappach.
