Dickies flies in signs for sides of arena

🕐 1 min read

The Dickies signs set to light up the sides of Dickies Arena arrived on Friday, Oct. 18.

A helicopter from 5States installed the hand-built signage, each of which are comprised of three-dimensional custom cabinets with programmable custom lighting and 2,258 LED modules.

Dickies Arena officials said using a helicopter is both quicker and more cost efficient. With the traditional method of using a crane for installation, the process can take days, while the helicopter will be finished in a matter of hours.

“Dickies Arena is a draw for Fort Worth and ensures it remains one of the fastest-growing cities in the nation,” said Craig Errington, vice president of marketing, Dickies. “We couldn’t feel more pride about having the Dickies brand name on a state-of-the art venue that will provide entertainment in the community where our employees live and work.”

Dickies Arena will have its grand opening on Saturday, Oct. 26.
