Dodson Companies acquires Foundry District warehouse for redevelopment

Dodson Companies announced Oct. 29 that it has acquired property at 2531 Weisenberger St. in the Foundry District as part of a long-term strategic plan by the company’s owner, Ryan Dodson, to provide modern concepts and fresh adaptive retail spaces in up and coming areas of town, the company said in a news release.

“The Foundry District acquisition is an exciting opportunity to add to our growing portfolio of creative adaptive reuse projects in great areas,” Dodson said. “We love what’s happening in the district and are particularly excited to bring our signature development style and management team to this project.”

Dodson Companies behind some of the most recognizable projects west of Highway 360 including Downtown Arlington’s Urban Union on Front Street, two major developments on west Magnolia (1455 and 1506 W. Magnolia – Salsa Limon and Fort Worth Strong), and new spaces on South Main (212 and 300 S. Main – Bearded Lady and Nickel City).

Space is currently available for lease in the project, with renovations scheduled to be complete in early 2020.
