California-based chicken chain El Pollo Loco expanded in North Texas on Nov. 14 with its newest location in Hurst.

The new 3,000-square-foot restaurant, located at 1245 W. Pipeline Road, is owned and operated by franchise partner Chicken Time II LLC, an affiliate of Henry Investment Group.

The eatery is the first location to open in Hurst, the sixth location to open in the Dallas-Fort Worth market and the second restaurant for Chicken Time Holdings.

El Pollo Loco opened the first of seven restaurants in the D-FW market in Bedford on Aug. 9.
