Flight simulation group adds another North Texas location

Valley View at DFW Irving

Avenger Flight Group LLC has started construction on its second flight simulation training center in North Texas, leasing 116,640 square feet of class A spec space in Valley View at DFW Center.

The Florida-based company has signed a long-term lease at 2800 Valley View Lane in Irving. The new facility will feature several commercial simulators and large training centers. Avenger Flight Group plans to occupy the space in stages as a result of the extensive build-out.

“This is an expansion. It’s a small- to medium-size company that continues to grow,” said Joe Santaularia, first vice president of Dallas-based Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services. He and Brock Wilson, senior vice president and managing partner, are Avenger Flight Group’s tenant representatives in North Texas.

Avenger Flight Group entered the DFW market three years ago, leasing 40,000 square feet for the long term at 4649 Diplomacy Rd., Fort Worth. The search for space to house a second training facility in DFW began roughly 18 months ago.

“Valley View is off-airport, which Avenger liked, and had a spec suite that could accommodate its need for an intensive build-out,” Santaularia said. “Once this space surfaced, negotiations went quickly because it was the right fit.”

Valley View at DFW Center, completed in 2017, is a 294,795-square foot project set on 19.5 acres fronting TX 161 and midway between Dallas and Fort Worth. The industrial property also is close to TX 183 and 360, a mere two-minute drive to DFW International Airport. Steve Trese, Brian Gilchrist and Steve Koldyke of CBRE represent the landlord, Valley View Owner LLC of Carlsbad, Calif.

Founded in 2012, Avenger Flight Group provides commercial aviation simulators, including the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and training services to commercial airlines worldwide. It has facilities in Florida, Nevada, Texas, Mexico, Colombia and Spain.
