Cushman & Wakefield is planning an expansion of the firm’s industrial agency leasing in North Texas, adding Kurt Griffin and Nathan Orbin as executive managing directors, the company said in a news release.
“We are building on the strong Cushman & Wakefield platform by adding folks of solid character and proven ability, and Kurt and Nathan embody this,” Ran Holman, managing principal and Dallas-Fort Worth market leader, said in the announcement.
Griffin was with Cushman & Wakefield for 11 years before joining JLL, a worldwide commercial real estate company, in 2013. In his 26-year career he has completed more than 300 transactions totaling 40 million square feet and valued at more than $800 million. Orbin joined JLL in 2009, after beginning his real estate career at Jackson Cooksey in 2003. During his 14 years in the business. he has brokered 25 million square feet of deals and sold more than 4,000 acres of industrial land.

Griffin and Orbin are graduates of The University of Texas at Austin, and both are actively involved with the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and the North Texas chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), among other industry organizations.
Cushman & Wakefield leads the nation in industrial brokerage, and building that capability has been a top priority in Dallas-Fort Worth, Bret Bunnett, executive managing director, said in the release. “We’re absolutely confident we found the right leaders to build this practice group.”
