Fort Capital, has broken ground on The Palmer, a contemporary boutique apartment development located at 117 Priddy Lane in The River District. Slated for completion in early 2019, The Palmer will offer 46 units, all of which will be integrated with IOTAS smart home technology.

The Palmer’s studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units will all feature modern finishes, including 10-foot ceilings, hardwood-style and tile flooring, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, oversized tubs, washers and dryers, designer light fixtures, and oversized balconies. The Palmer will also offer amenities such as an expansive rooftop lounge, laundry/dry cleaning services, a coffee bar with co-working areas, bike storage, a package concierge, and gated covered parking and private garages.

Integrated IOTAS smart home technology will provide residents with full outlet and lighting controls, home entry alerts, smart thermostats, customized lighting, voice control, and motion sensors, all of which can be controlled from a smart device.

“The Palmer is going to be a fantastic addition to The River District and Fort Capital’s portfolio,” said Chris Powers, CEO of Fort Capital. “Between the smart home technology and The River District offerings, these apartments are unlike anything else. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this development will impact the neighborhood.”

The Palmer is also within walking distance of popular businesses and restaurants such as Salsa Limon, Lettuce Cook, Flowers on the Square, Abundio’s Fit Society, GWW Real Estate, and the highly-anticipated Heim BBQ, which is undergoing renovations over the next few months.

BRNB Construction is heading up construction on the project.

The River District neighborhood has numerous other projects currently under construction, including a new office development known as “101 Nursery Lane”, and two new townhome developments, “The Grove” and “The Parkland.”
