Fort Worth-based Sagora Senior Living has acquired Orchard Park of Murphy, a retirement community with 92 assisted care and 33 memory care apartments in the Collin County town of Murphy.
The property, at 304 West FM 544, will be renamed, with new resident programs expected to be implemented in the next few months, Sagora said.
Planned services include restaurant-style dining, exercise and specialized fitness classes, full-time nursing and care associates, transportation, and medication management.
Orchard Park will offer Sagora Pathways, the Fort Worth firm’s specialized memory care program that includes chef-prepared dining, daily programs and planned activities tailored around each resident’s needs and interests.
“Sagora’s transition with Orchard Park complements our overall goal of serving and celebrating the wisdom of our current and future residents,” said Dara Brown, vice president of operations and sales, commenting in a news release.
Orchard Park is Sagora’s first community in Collin County and its 11th community in Texas. It operates Mirabella Senior Living in Fort Worth, Westmore Senior Living in Westworth Village and Heritage Place in Burleson. More information is available at www.sagora.com.
