Fort Worth-based architecture firm Huckabee Inc. is relocating its regional office to Plano’s Granite Park.
JLL said May 23 it has negotiated a new 9,788-square-foot office lease for Huckabee. The architectural engineering firm will relocate its regional office to Granite Park Five, located at 5830 Granite Parkway in Plano.
JLL Managing Directors Steve Thelen and Pat McDowell negotiated the lease on behalf of the tenant. Robert Jimenez and Avery Bush represented Granite Properties Inc.
“Our goal was to secure Huckabee the optimum office solution that inspires creativity,” said Thelen. “Increased development and growth in Far North Dallas makes it one of the Dallas’ most vibrant submarkets. The area provides an energetic ‘live, work, play’ environment, an abundance of amenities and easy accessibility for those commuting.”
Huckabee will continue to operate its headquarters at 801 Cherry St. in downtown Fort Worth.
As of Q1 2016, the Far North Dallas submarket has delivered 448,218 million square feet of new office space and currently has 6.7 million square feet currently under construction concentrated primarily in the Greater Legacy-Frisco area, according to JLL Research.
