Fort Worth Whole Foods has opening date

A Whole Foods Market store in Louisville, Kentucky in May.The store is seeking to shed its "Whole Paycheck" reputation with a new line of less-expensive markets.

Whole Foods Market will open in the Waterside development in Southwest Fort Worth on Wednesday, Oct. 12, the Austin company announced Friday.

The 45,000-square-foot store will be the company’s first Fort Worth location and its thirteenth in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and will employ approximately 120.
