Goffs to auction off Eagle Mountain retreat

Mariposa del Lago, or “Butterfly of the Lake,”

Crescent Real Estate Holdings’ founder John C. Goff and his wife, Cami, are selling their Eagle Mountain Lake retreat in an auction next month.

“We created a place where all of our children would want to come; the gathering place for holidays and the axis point of all major events,” said Cami Goff in a statement. “It was not an easy decision to sell, as we’ve poured our hearts into Mariposa del Lago. Every detail was meticulously thought out, materials selected, and executed by one of us personally.

“But, we decided that the timing was right to pass the keys to the next family who will cherish this estate and create their own memories and traditions to last a lifetime, just as we have. Finding the right steward requires a unique process, and we are confident Concierge Auctions will provide that,” she said.

Mariposa del Lago is located within 30 minutes of downtown Fort Worth in a private and secluded cove on Eagle Mountain Lake. New York City-based Concierge Auctions will market and sell the property in cooperation with Kyle Crews and Daylon Pereira of Allie Beth Allman & Associates. The estate is set to sell at auction without reserve on Oct. 8.

“This property has countless amenities and flawless design,” stated Allie Beth Allman, Founder and CEO of Allie Beth Allman & Associates and one of the most recognized and acclaimed luxury real estate leaders in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. “This is the best opportunity there will ever be on Eagle Mountain Lake. It’s one-of-a-kind.”

Mariposa del Lago, located at 7941 Summit Cove, was created by a ‘who’s who’ of renowned Fort Worth and Dallas architects, builders and designers including Richard Drummond Davis, David Lewis and Architectural Digest Top 100 Designer Joseph Minton. The property offers a mix of contemporary design and rustic Texas charm, including Oklahoma river stone and Northwestern white cedar ceilings, according to Concierge Auctions.

The main home is comprised of more than 6,500 square feet with four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. There is a 1,500-square-foot guest cabana.
