JLL announced July 9 that is has negotiated a new office lease for furniture company Workplace Resource Group (WRG), a Carrollton-based, woman-owned Herman Miller certified dealership.

The new 7,800-square-foot space is located at 707 W Vickery in Vickery Village of the Near Southside District. Originally built in 1937, the refurbished property will now serve as WRG’s new Fort Worth office and showroom.

“WRG is a company of people dedicated to community, customer service and collaborative design,” said Gregory Carter, Managing Director of WRG Fort Worth. “We have been fortunate to furnish many of the most prestigious offices, universities and major healthcare facilities in North Texas. Our new Fort Worth location illustrates our commitment to customer service and provides us the opportunity to strengthen relationships within our thriving community.”

As the need arose to further serve more and more clients in Fort Worth, WRG initially expanded into the Fort Worth market in January, establishing their operations at the James E. Guinn Entrepreneurial Complex and partnering with Accelerate DFW to help new entrepreneurs. The organization provides small business owners and start-ups with valuable information, counseling, educational workshops and resources. WRG provided over $200,000 of office furniture to fit out the Ideaworks incubator space.

“WRG is fully committed to the economic growth of Fort Worth and, in partnership, hope to accomplish this by supporting the entrepreneurial community and improving people’s lives at work, wherever they work” said Lori Bauer, Principal and CEO of WRG North Texas.

JLL’s George Curry and Blake Rogers negotiated the new lease on behalf of WRG. Stream’s Tyler Maner and Cullen Donohue represented the landlord, Churchill Properties, LLC.

“The City of Fort Worth has invested millions of dollars upgrading the infrastructure within The Near Southside District, including new streetscapes with bike lanes and new street connections to Downtown Fort Worth,” said Rogers. “These investments have helped spur this area to become one of the most vibrant areas in Fort Worth. 707 W Vickery will provide WRG with a central location in a creative environment that will help them further serve their clients here in Fort Worth. We are thrilled to help welcome WRG to Fort Worth and look forward to their continued success.”
