Home sales still hot

Home sales

It’s not exactly news that North Texas is a good place to sell a home. A recent study ranked several North Texas cities as among the easiest places to sell a home in the state. SmartAsset, a New York-based financial technology company, ranked cities in the United States by the number of days houses spend on the market. Fort Worth was No. 6, but several area cities were similarly ranked. Red Oak, south of Dallas in Ellis County, was No. 1 with an ease-of-sale index rating of 99.59.

The rankings are a factor in SmartAsset’s second annual Healthiest Housing Markets study, which includes factors of risk, stability and affordability in addition to ease of sale.
