HomeServices acquires Dallas-based Allie Beth Allman & Associates

HomeServices of America Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate, has acquired Allie Beth Allman & Associates of Dallas.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founder and CEO Allie Beth Allman will continue leading the firm’s growth initiatives and manage day-to-day operations, according to a news release. Its agents last year sold about 2,100 homes valued at $1.5 billion.

The acquisition represents HomeServices’ entry into Texas and the Dallas–Fort Worth region. The transaction sees HomeServices oversee nearly 26,500 real estate professionals operating in 480 offices across 27 states. In 2015, the company’s associates are expected to facilitate more than $77 billion in residential real estate sales and more than 220,000 transactions.

“Allie Beth Allman & Associates is a strong company with an exceptional reputation in a growth market,” said Ron Peltier, HomeServices’ chairman and CEO, commenting in a news release.

“This transaction aligns with our vision of acquiring distinguished companies in leading markets that share our core values,” Peltier said.
