Indigo: Yoga, Meditation, and Teacher Training has announced it will open a new location called the Indigo Academy in the Chicotsky’s Center at 3425 W. 7th St. in the former Soul Space Yoga Community studio.
Scheduled opening is Saturday, Jan. 19, with an open house from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
In addition to daily classes and programming, the studio will provide a home for Indigo’s Brooke Hamblet Teacher Training School, Indigo said in a news release.
“We are thrilled for this opportunity, because it allows us to have a dedicated space for our teacher training and special programs, along with even more classes for our members,” said Brooke Hamblet, founder and director of Indigo.
Hamblet opened Indigo 13 years ago with a small practice space located in a garage apartment. Since then, Indigo has grown its presence in Westside Fort Worth through two expansions and relocations of the flagship studio.
“Fort Worth has embraced Indigo’s culture, and we always look to the future for opportunities to grow alongside our members,” Hamblet said. “Our teacher training is now a year-round program, and this dedicated space will allow us to grow the future of the yoga community not just in Fort Worth, but throughout North Texas.”
Locations are 5111 Pershing Ave., 203 Commerce St. and 3425 W. 7th St.
