Live! by Loews has checked in to bolster Arlington’s hospitality and entertainment industries.
The $150 million-dollar hotel officially opened Thursday. The hotel anchors Texas Live! entertainment complex within Arlington’s Entertainment District.
The 14-stories, 300-room hotel stands adjacent to Texas Live!, opened in exactly a year ago. Other notable neighbors include Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Park, forthcoming Globe Life Field and Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium.
The hotel project is a joint venture between Loews Hotels & Co, a subsidiary of Loews Corporation, The Cordish Companies and the Texas Rangers.
“This opening marks a significant milestone for us, as we continue to make deliberate investments and strategically grow the company, adding five additional hotels over the course of the next 10 months in Orlando, Texas and Missouri,” Jonathan Tisch, Chairman & CEO of Loews Hotels & Co., said in a statement.
Each of the 300 guest rooms at Live! by Loews – Arlington, TX features floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the neighboring stadiums and city skylines, coupled with spacious layouts, natural wood surfaces and comfortable lounging areas.
Apart from accommodations, the new hotel offers more than 35,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces, both indoor and outdoor, that can hold up to 1,000 guests.
Leisure travelers can also enjoy the many resort amenities the property features.
There is an outdoor infinity pool. Guests can swim up to get a drink at SOAK, a pool bar. While Arlington Clover Club provides craft beer, cocktails and sharable plates in an outdoor bar setting.
The property also features a private rooftop terrace and the ground-floor River Market, for handcrafted coffees.
“With the addition of the Live! by Loews luxury hotel to our world-class Entertainment District, Arlington is one of the most iconic sports and entertainment destinations in the country and guests will experience hospitality at the highest level,” Arlington Mayor Jeff Williams said in a statement.
Live! by Loews – Arlington, TX was constructed by Manhattan Construction Company and Arlington-based Con-Real.
HKS Architects Hospitality Studio was the designer. The architect worked in close collaboration with Mycoskie+Mcinnis+Associates, Purdy-McGuire and McLaren Engineering Group.
The hotel is located at 1600 E. Randol Mill Rd in Arlington.
Room reservation price for the rest of August ranges from $159 to $519.
