Mansfield groundbreaking paves way for imaging center

Ground was recently broken for the Alexander Medical Pavilion in Mansfield, with developers, city and hospital officials celebrating the planned 15,000-square-foot medical facility, which is set to open next spring.

“I think an outpatient radiology center is something that’s been needed for a while,” said Dr. Gary Alexander, who funded the $3 million facility through private investors and construction loans from Mansfield Community Bank.

Alexander’s practice will occupy part of the building at 2875 E. Broad St. and Methodist Health System will be the anchor. Methodist will use its space to develop the Methodist Mansfield Outpatient Imaging Center.
