Mayor Betsy Price in a Maserati
Tuesday Park Place Dealerships in Fort Worth announced plans to open a Maserati showroom and body shop on Bryant Irvin Road, just south of its Park Place Mercedes-Benz dealership at an event Tuesday morning.
The 7,000-square-foot dealership will be at 5760 Bryant Irvin Road, on the west side of Bryant Irvin and just south of Oakbend Trail in southwest Fort Worth. Construction begins this month and the dealership is expected in spring 2014.
The dealership will have a 30,000-square-foot body shop. Construction costs for the two projects are just over $2 million. The two businesses, together, are projected to create 30 new jobs
At the grand opening Mayor Betsy Price, Councilman Jungus Jordan, Councilman Zim Zimmerman, and several local business leaders broke ground on the project.
