McAlister’s Deli plans to open a new location in North Fort Worth, bringing the Alliance area soups and sandwiches on the northeast corner of Old Denton Road and Heritage Trace Parkway.

Representing the owner in the transaction were Roger Smeltzer Jr., principal and broker, and Barrett England, director, both with Vision Commercial Real Estate LLC. Representing the tenant were Bryan Dyer and Trip Green, vice presidents of The Woodmont Co.

The store will occupy 3,500 square feet in a retail strip planned to feature Mooyah, among other tenants.

The retail strip, being developed by JBL Asset Management, is at 9604 N. Riverside Dr.

The strip is in addition to a 69,000-square-foot shopping center that’s 89 percent leased. The outparcel strip is under construction and is expected to be complete late in second quarter 2014. About 1,000 square feet are available in the planned 6,700 square feet strip.
