MedExpress to open first neighborhood medical centers in Fort Worth

Two new MedExpress Urgent Care neighborhood medical centers – the 10th and 11th in Texas – will open in Fort Worth in the next few weeks. The first of the urgent care , at 5001 S. Hulen St. is opening Wednesday, June 20 and the second, at 5700 N. Tarrant Pkwy, will open on July 25.

The Fort Worth centers will offer free sports physicals to patients ages five and up for two weeks following each location’s opening.

Each center is about 4,700 square feet.

MedExpress plans to open a new center in Arlington this August.

The Fort Worth centers will have multiple exam rooms, a procedure room and an X-ray suite. The centers will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with no appointment necessary. MedExpress accepts all major insurance plans and offers affordable pricing for people without insurance. The centers will be staffed by a full medical team that includes medical providers, radiologic technologists, nurses and customer service representatives.
