🕐 1 min read

Medical Center Alliance officially opened an $8.7 million free-standing emergency room in Saginaw following a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Nov. 15.

The 11,000 square-foot, 12-bed facility is located at 727 W. Bailey Bowell Road near the intersection of Bailey Boswell Road and U.S. Highway 287. Board certified emergency physicians will provide emergency coverage for both pediatric and adult patients, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The ER includes a dedicated trauma code room, complete medical laboratory, on-site blood bank, and the latest in technology and imaging services.

“At Medical Center Alliance, we have proven that providing an excellent patient experience is our top priority,” said Glenn Wallace, CEO for Medical Center Alliance. “Medical City Alliance ER Saginaw will feature the same dedication to the patient experience.”

Medical City ER Saginaw is designed to meet the community’s growing needs for emergency service close to home. The ER operates as a department of Medical Center Alliance, a 55-bed, full-service hospital that opened in February 2015. The hospital specializes in women’s, cardiology, robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery and emergency care. Medical Center Alliance is an affiliate of Nashville-based HCA Corp.

The architect for Medical City ER Saginaw was Deveney Group Ltd. Architects and the contractor for the project was Deangelis Diamond Construction.
