New businesses coming to Southlake’s Park Village

The new Park Village shopping center located at 400 S. Carroll Ave. in the heart of Southlake recently announced the latest lineup of stores and restaurants opening this spring and summer. These new retailers will join Beauty Brands, The Fresh Market, REI and Michaels.

Luke’s Locker, a fitness apparel and accessories company, officially opened April 11 and will host its grand opening in early May with a special shopping event. A date and time will be announced soon. The store also hosts regular in-store yoga and fitness classes.

Orvis is slated to open in late April with a grand opening set for May 29-31. The store offers hunting and fly fishing gear, sportswear for men and women, home furnishings and pet goods.

Fast-casual restaurant Potbelly Sandwich Shop will open in mid-May. The lunch and dinner menu will feature a selection of made-to-order sandwiches, salads, soups and baked goods. Breakfast sandwiches and other specialty items will be available during the morning hours. Prior to opening, Potbelly will host an oven-warming party to raise money for a local charitable organization. A $5 donation to the organization will get each diner a sandwich, chips and drink; the date and time is to be announced.

Park Village Nail Salon will open in late May. The nail salon will provide 30 percent off all services to celebrate its opening.

Modmarket, a fast-casual eatery featuring menu items made from scratch in-house, is slated to open in mid-June with Lemongrass Salon & Spa expected to open in July. The salon will exclusively use products from Aveda, a botanical-based hair, skin and body line.
