New education facility designed by Arcturis breaks ground in Aledo

Rendering Reading Friends of Aledo

Reading Friends of Aledo Early Childhood Education broke ground on their new facility located at 995 Bailey Ranch Road in Aledo.

The 6,200 square-foot school was designed with a focus on the education of Preschool children ages two through five and Kinder-Prep, Kindergarten-Bridge, and Kindergarten classes for students ages four through six. With an emphasis on outdoor education, the floor plan is centered around an exterior courtyard, maximizing the amount of daylight into the school which will allow for a vital connection to the natural environment.

Designed by Arcturis architects in Fort Worth, the design evokes the classic schoolhouse aesthetic that incorporates modern elements while blending in to the surrounding context of Aledo.

The needs of children and families has evolved over the years and we have spent the last few years visualizing the ideal school that would provide the perfect environment for our students. Arcturis’ team helped our vision become a reality. We are delighted to break ground in the heart of Aledo so that we may continue to serve the young, enthusiastic learners of Parker County!” said Diane Taylor, owner of Reading Friends of Aledo.
