New Kroger coming to northwest Fort Worth

🕐 0 min read

A new Kroger is coming to far Northwest Fort Worth. Fort Worth City Council members on Dec. 2 approved the rezoning of a site at 8701 Old Decatur Road off of Bailey Boswell Road that will allow the grocery store.

A small number of property owners opposed the case and said a grocery store isn’t appropriate for the site. Councilman Dennis Shingleton, in moving for approval of the rezoning, asked the Kroger representative at the meeting to meet with the city and property owners to discuss ways to mitigate any impact from the grocery store. – Scott Nishimura
