New senior living development set for southwest Fort Worth

Ascend Partners and Civitas Senior Living have announced their collaborative development of The Grandview of Chisholm Trail, a boutique senior living community southwest of downtown Fort Worth.

Also working on the project, expected to break ground this summer, are Arrive Architects and general contractor Ridgemont.

“We’re thrilled to be part of this dynamic area within Southwest Fort Worth,” Ascend Managing Partner Anand Patel said in a Feb. 12 news release. “Having already opened a hotel along the Chisholm Trail Parkway, The Grandview is a testament to our continuing support and investment in this exciting neighborhood. We want to be a part of the Chisholm Parkway’s growth and help develop this thriving corridor.”

The 5.7-acre development will feature 89 senior living residences, deluxe amenities, concierge-style service, chef-prepared meals, 24/7 professional care and “the maintenance-free lifestyle that today’s active seniors demand,” the news release said.

The Grandview will be the first senior living project for Ascend Partners, but they hope it to be the first of many. Patel said Ascend chose to partner with Civitas because of its decades of experience in senior living and its culture of dedication and passion for its residents.
