Waters Restaurant has a tentative opening date for its new Sundance Square location: March 1.
There will also be a new executive chef at the new location.
While Jon Bonnell remains owner, chef, and operator of Waters Restaurant, Chef Anthony Felli will fill the role of executive chef at the new location.
Construction continues to progress at the site at the corner of Second and Commerce streets. Windows remain uncovered so that pedestrians can check on the progress at the new space. The interior design nods to the original Waters location with plenty of natural light, oyster shell accouterments, and classic tile patterns, according to a news release.
Waters is going into the space formerly occupied by the Mercury Chop House.
