The 4,160-square-foot restaurant in Fort Worth will accommodate 180 guests, including an outdoor patio. Fort Worth NKS, LLC, comprised of a father and son restaurateur team of Hooshang Naghad and Cyrus Park, will operate Newk’s in Fort Worth. Naghad has extensive industry experience serving as owner of a fine dining restaurant for almost 40 years, and is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute of New York. Park has been working alongside his father managing operations for 17 years.
“The sincere commitment to modern quality and convenience paired with traditional hospitality is what attracted us to be a part of Newk’s,” said Park. “We believe Fort Worth will appreciate a fine casual restaurant like Newk’s. We’re excited to welcome everyone to become a part of Newk’s close-knit foodie community.”
Newk’s menu consists of a variety of offerings, including grilled & toasted sandwiches, more than a dozen entrée salads, soups and hand-rolled pizzas for lunch and dinner. Newk’s also owns its own bakery, making signature Dozen-Layer Cakes every day with flavors like Strawberry, Caramel, Chocolate and a seasonal feature, such as the Iced Lemon dozen-layer cake available for summer.
Newk’s dining room includes The Roundtable – which offers a generous selection of free premium garnishes, including imported pepperoncini, Torinesi-style breadsticks, grated Parmesan, house-made croutons, bread & butter pickles and other seasonal features. Newk’s also features an Iced Tea Bar with fresh-brewed Rainforest Alliance Certified iced teas: unsweet, sweet, sweetened with Splenda and a seasonal brew – now a Kenyan-grown Raspberry Iced Tea made with natural raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and currants.
“At Newk’s, great food drives us, and we’re excited to join Fort Worth’s dynamic culinary scene,” said Stewart Slocum, CMO of Newk’s Eatery. “Our founder Chris Newcomb, who develops our dishes, is a true foodie, and his passion for big flavors and generous portions is brought to life in every dish. We source the finest seasonal ingredients, cooking with premium meats, seasonal vegetables, house-roasted garlic and house-infused olive oils.”
