Fort Worth Chapters of the Society for Design Administration and The American Institute of Architects are teaming up to present the 19th annual CANstruction at North East Mall from Monday, Oct. 16, to Sunday, Oct. 22.
The event takes place near Dick’s Sporting Goods and in Center Court near Macys. It will be a canned and packaged food sculpture building competition and all sculptures will be donated to the Tarrant Area Food Bank.
Area residents and visitors will be able to view the displays for free throughout the mall during regular mall hours.
Guests are encouraged to show their support by choosing their favorite creation and voting online. Each vote is $5 to benefit the Tarrant Area Food Bank, serving 13 North Texas counties.
