Alliance Architects Inc. (AAI), a leading Dallas-area commercial architectural and interior design firm, is celebrating 25 years of helping to shape the Dallas-Fort Worth area’s architectural landscape. AAI is focused mainly on corporate interiors, data centers, education industrial, liturgical, and office markets. Located in Richardson, the firm provides architectural and interior design, master planning and project management services.

Founding Principal Charlie Reagan, is joined by Principals Carlos deSaracho, Tom Maxwell, Chad Michel and Associate Principal Scott Meyer, as the firm’s Board of Directors.

“The firm was started on April 1, 1993,” said Reagan. “The name Alliance was chosen in part with the notion that our business is dedicated to creating alliances with developers, general contractors and other architectural/engineering firms. We pride ourselves on our ability to listen, provide consistent and open communication, while being fully transparent with our clients and consultants.”

One of Alliance Architect’s core beliefs is giving back to the community, said Michel. “Philanthropy is an important focus for us,” he said. “As an architectural firm, we make an impact on the city landscape through building design, but at the same time we really enjoy giving back to our community. Recent projects such as designing a food pantry for In The City For Good, mentoring Richardson ISD high school students, or renovating a house for Habitat for Humanity, are the things we love to do and are part of what we do on a daily basis.”

With the real estate/construction market still soaring, the design firm has its employees to thank.

“Our people are energetic and imaginative,” said deSaracho. “Everyone brings their unique talents to the table, producing creative design and constructible drawings. They listen, respond and transform our clients’ goals into creatively designed and successfully constructed facilities. We strongly believe that the best and most talented people walk through our doors every day to form what we proudly consider the Alliance family.

“Most importantly, we credit our success to our clients, both longstanding and new. It is through their support and belief in our partnerships that we have succeeded and grown in the last 25 years. We look forward to another 25 years and beyond,” deSaracho said.

Among the firm’s area designs are IBM’s Global Solutions Center in Coppell, Adam Smith’s Texas Harley-Davidson of Bedford, St. John’s Catholic Parish in Allen and the Tandy Leather headquarters in Fort Worth.
