Orvis to open Fort Worth store in Chapel Hill

Orvis

Their tagline is “Men Women Fly Fishing Dogs” so you have to know they’re coming to Fort Worth. And they are. Venture Commercial Real Estate on Oct. 10 announced it has completed a lease for the Orvis in Fort Worth. The outdoor lifestyle brand will occupy 6,318 square feet at 4601 West Freeway in the Chapel Hill Shopping Center.

“Fort Worth has been of interest to Orvis for a long time,” said Venture’s Benjamin Hines, who negotiated the lease for the retailer. “We spent months searching for the right location for this iconic brand and are excited to have found such a great spot in the heart of Fort Worth.

“It’s not every day you get to work with a great tenant like Orvis,” he said. “From the brand and the people, to the products, strong environmental ethics and conservation, this retailer is top notch and their success proves this.”

Jason Williams, director of Real Estate for Orvis said “Orvis Retail is excited to be entering Fort Worth later this year. This will be our fourth location in the greater DFW market and our first in Fort Worth specifically. Fort Worth is a natural fit for us to expand, as our brand has resonated in Texas for many years.

“We hope our customers are thrilled with our offerings of fly-fishing and hunting gear, men’s and women’s apparel, dog accessories and adventure travel. Conservation partnerships and free fly-fishing classes will be announced prior to opening. Construction is underway and we are anticipating opening Fall 2019.”
