Township Ohio-based Frontgate, a home luxury goods multichannel retailer with catalog, ecommerce and retail operations established in 1991, announced the opening of its 21,337-square foot flagship store Friday, July 21 at Plano’s The Shops at Legacy West, located at 7700 Windrose Ave, Suite G190.
“The new flagship lets Frontgate enthusiasts experience the brand in real life,” the news release reads.
The store was designed by FRCH Design Worlwide to be a “grand living, welcoming, entertaining and creating space.”
Frontgate’s bistro will allow customers a place to eat and drink between perusing the furniture offerings and talking with the store’s designers and lifestyle experts.
Currently the company has millions of homes within its reach through use of its annual printed catalogue, as well as its website and social media presence.
Frontgate has expressed excitement at bringing their flagship to North Texas, as Tyler Thompson, head of Frontgate public relations, says they have a nice customer foundation in the Dallas-Fort Worth market already.
“We find that North Texans enjoy entertaining at home, and are looking for high-quality products that reflect the pride they take in their space,” Thompson said in the release. “This new space is about engaging with and entertaining our consumers. It is not just a retail space but a community lifestyle center for the best of all things home, and we look forward to contributing to and being part of the community.”
For more than a quarter of a century, Frontgate has been known for its furniture and décor as well as customer service. The company only hopes to build on what can be seen as a solid foundation with the opening of its “walk-around catalogue.”
The pièce de résistance of the flagship is its 2,500-square-foot patio space for “open-air shopping and entertaining,” the release reads.
The space will also be used to present monthly workshops, parties and other Frontgate events.
