Pollo Tropical is opening its newest Dallas-Fort Worth-area locations this summer, with a Watauga location opening June 19 and a Hurst site opening July 3.

The Watauga restaurant is located at 7304 Denton Highway and the Hurst location is at 1495 Precinct Line Road.

Since making its Texas debut in Addison last March, the fast-casual concept has launched more than 15 restaurants statewide, deepening its roots in the home state of its Addison-based parent company, Fiesta Restaurant Group Inc.

Pollo Tropical is a Caribbean-inspired fast-casual concept known for its flame-grilled chicken marinated in a proprietary blend of tropical fruit juices and spices.

“We continue to expand in North Texas because these communities have been so welcoming to us,” said Pollo Tropical Chief Operating Officer Danny Meisenheimer. “We’re on track to surpass 10 area stores by year’s end, and our two new metroplex restaurants will help us better serve the area, which has developed a real taste for Pollo Tropical’s island-inspired cuisine.”

The 3,400-square-foot restaurants will be open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, and both will feature indoor and outdoor seating for more than 90 guests, with a drive-thru.

Both restaurants are currently seeking workers and applications can be found http://pollotropical.com/careers/job-postings/.
