Randy Rogers opening ChopShop Live in Roanoke

The Randy Rogers Band are perennials in the local concert scene and now frontman Randy Rogers has partnered with Rock Libations, formed by independent restaurant pioneers Josh Babb and Sean Clavir, for ChopShop Live – a restaurant, bar and club in Roanoke.

To celebrate the venue’s grand opening, Rogers will present a concert on Saturday, July 14, at 5 p.m. featuring fellow Texas artist Wade Bowen.

The venue will have the versatility to host intimate shows with audiences ranging from 250-1,200 fans, all dependent on the venue set up, and the menu and overall vibe will have a similar feel to the current ChopShop in Carrolton

“Randy & I have been dear friends for years, and when I told him about this project he immediately asked how he could be involved,” said co-owner, entrepreneur Joshua Babb. “Having Randy’s expertise to guide us along our first music venue has already proven to be invaluable. Both Sean and myself are so grateful to have him on board.”

GFF Architects’ Levi Hooten designed a unique space with a modern atheistic and many curves, welcoming movement and innovative, eclectic music. A rustic outdoor area includes salvage yard pieces from around the U.S., accompanied by picnic tables and individually themed shipping containers that turn into private suites for groups of 12 or more. ChopShop Live’s menu will feature a scratch kitchen serving family friendly new American cuisine.

In addition to ChopShop Sports Garage in Carrolton, Rock Libations owns & operates Musume in downtown Dallas’ Hall Arts District, Shooters in Victory Park, and Prohibition Chicken in old town Lewisville.

For more than fifteen years, Randy Rogers has been the lead singer of the Randy Rogers Band, one of the biggest names on the touring circuit.

Outside of his time in the studio, he is an owner and partner of numerous projects, including his artist management company Big Blind Management, music venues including the legendary Cheatham St. Warehouse and New Braunfels’ Whitewater Amphitheater, plus the Cleburne Rail Roaders baseball team and River Rose Boutique.
