Rapid Recovery Center is now open in Fort Worth, offering post-hospital patient care at a newly constructed, $22 million rehabilitation center, a news release announced.
The new center is located at 6301 Oakmont Blvd. in Fort Worth.
RRC aims to serve as a bridge between patients’ home and the hospital. This practice can reduce the total care cost as the patient recovers under the care of a physician-led team.
The release explained that RRCs are under the leadership of veteran healthcare executive and RRC Texas President Mark Fritz.
“Fort Worth is one of the fastest-growing cities in the country and we’re thrilled to bring our innovative brand of health care to residents in this incredible community,” Fritz said in the release.
“We offer our patients a more efficient and effective path to recovery immediately following a hospital stay,” he continued. “We work closely with local hospital systems, medical professionals and insurance providers to ensure that our patients have the immediate care they need to recover as soon as possible and return home to their daily lives.”
The center features physical and occupational rehab facilities available seven days a week; an in-house pharmacy; dialysis coordination; electronic medical records and more, all in addition to an on-site hair salon as well as in-room or fine dining meal options, the release detailed.
The rehab center can accommodate patients in 70 private rooms with private bathrooms and offers upscale assisted living services in The Residences.
Patients have a choice of five unfurnished floor plans. Amenities include chef-prepared meals, housekeeping services, an exercise room, movie theater, pub, bistro and outdoor putting green, the release explained, as well as a variety of activities.
For those in need, additional services including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming and medication management are also available.
Additionally, a full-time licensed nurse wellness director is on-site, physician services are available, and transportation is provided for off-site medical appointments.
Once RRC Fort Worth is fully operational, the center will have 150 full-time staff, including an onsite Registered Nurse supervisor available 24/7 to manage patient care, the release said. An experienced medical director will oversee the coordination of medical care and treatment, with assistance from full-time nurse practitioners.
